Entner Electronics is an ISO9001 certified company specialized in the development and series manufacturing of highly integrated camera systems.
The company was founded in 2003 in Austria’s beautiful area of Lake Constance. Since then Entner Electronics focused on bringing optics, camera electronics and processing capability into compact and cost effective solutions.
All products are designed from a system point of view to take away integration hassle at the customer and support high volume production and long term availability.
Entner’s product portfolio targets applications in the field of unmanned systems, microscopy, medical diagnostics and industry 4.0.
Over the recent years Entner Electronics developed a versatile set of building blocks and IP-Cores meaning we do NOT to start from scratch. It allows us to present a proof of the concept very early in the development and it will reduce the development risk and shorten the time to market.
Our Focus
Camera & FPGA Design
Entner Electronics is your partner when it comes to designing FPGA/SoC-based systems for embedded imaging and camera solutions. We develop solutions fully custom made or tailor our existing hardware for an application specific solution.
Image Processing
We developed a variety of FPGA based IP Cores for real-time processing such as lens distortion correction; video compression; sensor fusion and many application specific functions.
These IP Cores enable us to develop extremely powerful and cost effective systems with a low power consumption.
Optics Integration
Depending on your application we select the right optics to offer the required FoV; MTF and other characteristics. We integrate the auto focus, zoom and lens distortion correction in our cameras at FPGA level for crystal clear images and to allow application of a wide variety of adapter lenses.
Sensor Fusion
Entner Electronics has a vast experience in merging data from multiple sensors. These find their way in industry-4.0 applications; stereoscopic camera systems and systems for GEO-referenced image acquisition.
Edge Computing
We merge data processing capabilities in our cameras to form powerful & cost efficient embedded devices optimized for low latency.
Our designs are SoC-based and offer a Linux system that is open to the customers for implementation of dedicated functions.
Data Streaming
For a versatile application of our cameras and for hassle free system integration we actively support a wide range of interface technologies and protocols.
Over the recent year we developed systems that offer HDMI; USB; Ethernet and MIPI.
